Excuse the criticism, but how much pride is being too gay? Rainbow boas and feathers are all well and good, but hello, do we really think every homosexual in town likes to cross-dress, or that given the freedom that's the idyllic state of being that everyone's hoping for, where straight people wear pants and gay people wear skirts? Apart from hahaha, what are we saying about Scotland then?

I was looking at the Queer Pride clips from Delhi and Chennai (sue me, I'm a fag hag with friends who work at NGO's) and... well. While I get that there are extreme dickheads (har! pun!) who say that everyone should aspire to be Rama-and-Sita and that it's a genetic disease ingrown from the West to believe anything else, isn't it just as random counteracting that by dancing in the road wearing Spandex masks and chanting what seemed to be fertility hymns?

Where the fuck is the normalcy in any of this?
