In honor of our proposal anniversary, I was looking through this list my husband made, which he used as a checklist when meeting prospective brides.
An age of 24 or above.. uhm, I didn't fit that bill. Preferably a post graduate, earning a take-home salary of XX... there's no chronological way to accomplish both those goals before the age of 24. Anyway, the list goes on, but I'd say I meet less than 5% of all the criteria he had in mind.
Just got me thinking... I have an equally well defined list for the ideal job. Salary of XX, growth prospects, company's vision, benefits/location, my interest in the job, and so on. Maybe I should just take a chance on a job even if it doesn't fit that list wholly but feels right. Maybe not. But either ways something to think about.
