Annoyed with AirAsia

Is 'budget' synonymous with 'brainless'? I can think of no other explanation for AirAsia's blind refusal to acknowledge Bangkok's biggest flood in recent times. If you planned to fly there, then surely hundreds of people dying there won't change your plans? That's what AirAsia seems to say.

They will neither offer you a credit, change your travel dates, or allow you to fly to another location. In short, they seem to say that they will leave you stranded at the Bangkok airport, come hell or high water (literally, in this case). You can then 'enjoy' your week at the airport, since there's no way that you can do anything if you get out.

And they don't see why this should be a problem either. I'm baffled by their complete disregard for an exceptional situation, and their lack of sensitivity at this time. They will not veer from their dogmatic canned responses. I find it hard to appreciate the acts of 'charity' they describe on their website, when these same acts were probably funded by the money they collected from helpless travelers who did not wish to travel to disaster struck areas.

Edited: Subjugated them since. Change of dates, no loss of money.
