While I love-love-love my not-so-new-anymore job, I occasionally experience a twinge of Excel withdrawal syndrome, where a part of my brain automatically translates day-to-day events into formulas or chart graphics. Plus, you know, I definitely miss talking about 'penetration rates' with a straight face.
I remember my manager saying "Your penetration rates are really low. Speed it up, hit it hard and there'll be a reward." Ah, Google.
ReplyDeleteSnickerrr :D :D The best ever was our manager (and no, I don't mean the latest one) beaming a slide with 'Prick' written on it, size 72 font, and going, 'Who knows what this means?'
