Still Standing

Yes, I do realize it's been a while. No, I refuse to feel guilty or even slightly reprimanded. This is strictly a stand-up-for-myself phase in life; my first ever (I must be hitting adolescence or something) and I intend to enjoy every minute of it while it lasts.

What this means is saying no (or yes) with more gusto and less thought than ever - because, what the hell, I've some great safety nets in place and I'm unlikely to get hurt from the occasional fall.

What's more, this is the only way I'm going to learn that mistakes don't kill you, and what doesn't kill you makes you... more cynical? No, just more appreciative of the things that do go right.
