The Ants go Marching On & On

I'm working from home this week and I've never been happier about it. For starters, Chennai and Bangalore are about the same temperature, but my *house* in Bangalore is way cooler than my *office* in Chennai, so win.

On top of which, for the uninitiated, my job essentially involves a lot of waiting around for other people to execute the things I think of... and while I'm happy to pitch in and execute, that's kind of what they get paid for, so essentially, I'm left with more slack time than I'm used to, and being at home means I actually have something to fill the slack up with.

Stuff like eating aaloo parathas. Looking through old albums. Swapping gossip with the mother. Taking long walks with my parents. And of course addressing four hundred envelopes, giving endless measurements to tailors, shopping for gold, and suchlike. Speaking of... forty four days to go!
