Three

Remember when Buzz was something bees did, GOOG stock could buy you a car, and FB didn't exist 'cos Orkut rocked our existence? Teeeeeen saal baaaaad... :) I've now been working for as many years as I stayed in college. Except. You know. I WENT to work as opposed to putting attendance in college and skipping off for culturals. What, then, have I achieved in this time?

Fifteen kilos lost, ten gained, three lost, two gained... friends came and went in pretty much the same ratio. Louwe for the ones that stayed, bitching-potential from those that didn't. Funny houses with funnier landlords. Memories to share with the grandchildren. Reluctance to bring grandchildren into the world. Profound understanding of karma. Hoping it bites some people in the ass in some lifetime.

Things are good, things are bad. Things change, they remain the same. Replace 'things' with 'people,' or me. It's a tiring life, but someone's got to live it, and I've certainly had my laughs along the way. Up and down. Up and down. I'm motion sick now. It's time to retire I think. But the time gone by's shaped me to be what I am. For better or for worse. And thus... three years.
