Love Aaj Kal

Many a thathuvam has been taught to the louwe of my life Tewari. Here it is, then, in no particular order:

1. Should you make men wait or be sweet?
I can't be sweet to a man I dislike and I can't make a man I like wait. So, I block those I dislike, and mark those I like 'Never.' That way, I never see them online till they ping me first.

2. Does being too available translate into a bad thing?
The same way the laissez-faire economy takes away all the pleasure from bargaining.

3. So should you be pricey when he finally pings?
No, 'cos that gets them defensive, and that's no fun for anyone. More importantly, it's less fun for us than it is for him. Most importantly, it surprises and scares the shit outta them when you aren't pissed at them for no good reason.

4. What's the difference between acting pricey and making them chase?
Well, when they like you, it's making them chase. When they don't like you, they tell you you're being pricey.

5. If I don't remember our consensus on a guy, is it possible I like him?
No, it's possible we said he sure as hell doesn't have looks, so maybe he has personality. And personality isn't memorable when it's a product of Shaadi.com.

PS: Tuna-fish, does any of this sound familiar from when I was on the whine-asky end? You make me wisdomous :)

  2. "When they don't like you, they tell you you're being pricey."

This warrants a comment, and a comment is what it will get.
Psst - If we say you are being pricey, then lets face it(I mean who are we kidding?), you ARE in all likelihood acting pricey. It does NOT make us like you any less.(It's default setting. Guys will always like girls. Pricey or otherwise. God meant it to be that way and so let no guy tell you any different). There is a lot of fun in the chase, sure... but,you see, we are always trying to go for the kill. *evil grin*

@Anonymous: Lot of relevant points there, but the only one worth calling out: disturbing, the level of homophobia!
