Though it seems like forever (and then some) I've barely been married for four months. I lived alone for a HELL of a lot longer than that, so I figured I'd just easily revert to my single-girl self this weekend when the husband went out of town.
Don't get me wrong, I love the complancency of married life with its domestic routines and its cheerful little highs.... But can I just say, once in a while, living-alone life can be FABULOUS too.
Getting online at night and talking to people in other time zones whom you don't get to talk to otherwise.
Discussions about careers and love lives seeming more profound at midnight than ever.
Chatting and reading ebooks till you fall asleep.
Staying out all day without a single spare thought about needing to get home for the maid.
Peacing out on giant gossipy phone calls.
Ahhhh, life's good.
Now if this were only Chennai, this would be good times fifteen thousand. I need friends in HYDERABAD, dammit. Does any one know any worth knowing?
